In the heart of Tuscany, with the most stunning view of San Gimignano’s medieval towers, our bed and breakfast offers more than just a place to stay—it’s where you can truly taste tradition.
A few select afternoons each week, we host our Pasta Experience in the peaceful setting of our garden, making each event something special and memorable.
You’ll learn the authentic “nonna” technique or making fresh homemade pasta by hand—from kneading the dough to rolling it out and shaping classic forms like tagliatelle, orecchiette, or tortellini.
It’s a hands-on journey into the heart of Italian cuisine, set against the timeless beauty of one of Italy’s most iconic hilltop towns.
We’ll start from scratch, mixing flour and eggs just like Italian grandmothers have done for generations.
You’ll discover the secrets behind the perfect dough and feel it come to life under your hands.
Using nothing but your hands, you’ll learn how to stretch and roll the dough into smooth, golden sheets—watching as it slowly takes the shape of real pasta.
Now it’s time to create!
We’ll cut our pasta into classic shapes like tagliatelle and tagliolini, learning the subtle differences and techniques behind each one.
Finally, the most rewarding part: you’ll enjoy a tasting of the pasta you’ve made, we will cook for you and we will dress the homemade pasta with a simple sauce that lets the flavors of your job creation shine.
All of this takes place outdoors, in our peaceful garden surrounded by Mediterranean herbs and breathtaking views of San Gimignano.
You’ll sip on a glass of local wine as you cook, and at the end, we’ll share a special aperitivo—prepared with care using thoughtfully selected ingredients from nearby farms, never from the supermarket.
It’s an authentic, relaxed moment to savor the flavors of Tuscany and the joy of slow living.
This is not a cooking class, and it’s not a dinner—we offer you a moment of light-hearted joy, an unforgettable Italian experience shared with a local family.
